Description

Saltwater Beach House is a charmingly restored waterfront home on 1.6 acres of rolling lawn and located on a beautiful, no-bank, sandy beach. Eighty miles north of Seattle you will find the quiet, slow-paced lifestyle of Guemes Island, part of the San Juan Islands archipelago. Guemes Island (pronounced “Gwee-mus”)is the easiest of the islands to get to, only a 7 minute ferry ride from Anacortes.

Newly remodeled in 2005, the house has new carpet, paint, tile floors, granite tile counters, and tiled baths. The house includes two fireplaces, a view deck across the front and sweeping views from all living areas.

Our light and spacious beach house includes a large view living room with fireplace and an oversized, view dining room on the main level. The main level also offers a library and kitchen with views, 2 cozy bedrooms and lovely, tiled bath.  The lower level offers a family room, bedroom and the second bath with shower.

Watch the traffic on the Guemes Channel and see kayaks, sailboat races, yachts, tugs, barges and tankers.  Listen for the rumbling engines of the tugs and see a thousand foot ship glide by. A perfect place for sun and outdoor activities or to watch winter storms and curl up with a good book in front of the fireplace.

Policy

A 50% deposit is required to hold your dates. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

A $95 cleaning fee, $500 damage deposit and WA state sales tax. These will be shown in detail in our Rental Agreement.
