Large lakefront home with two levels. Main level has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Master bedroom has a king size bed and master bath with shower. Second bedroom has bunk beds with a full size on bottom and twin size on top. Third bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a full bathroom on this level along with a large kitchen, living room with 42" cable tv and dining area. A full sized washer and dryer is also available. Lower walkout level has two bedrooms. One with a queen size bed, the other has two twin beds. There is a new bathroom with shower on this level along with a kitchen and dining area, and living area with 55" cable tv. The lower level also has a pool table, Foosball table and air hockey table. We loved it! The house was great for our large multilevel family to spread out in. We loved the yard and sandy spot for the little ones to play. The lake was kinda of weedy for swimming too far but the boating and fishing were awesome. The Taylors were very friendly and helpful. They thought of everything we would need to have a great stay. We would recommend this place to families with small children and larger multilevel families like ours!
Beautiful home with plenty of room for large families to enjoy. Everything in the home is high quality and like new. The kitchen is the most organized, well equipped rental we have ever stayed in. The beds and bathrooms were great. The yard was well groomed and a perfect distance from the water. We really enjoyed just sitting on the lakefront fishing and watching our evening campfires. Fishing on Wiggins Lake produced several keeper bass and a large pike. We enjoyed driving to Gladwin, the ice cream parlor, Jays Sporting Goods, and Cops and Donuts in Clare. Jeff was great to work with and we look forward to returning soon.
The poperty was as represented, to our delight. Everything was very clean, the grounds were well groomed. Wiggins Lake althoug not huge was plenty big enough for tubing and fishing was good also; yet the lake was always quiet. The whole family had a great time. We hope to go there again... The owner was great to work with and always fast to respond to any questions we had. Gladwin is also a nice town and only a few short miles away. I would recomend this property for a great quiet getaway...
We just stayed a week at this lakehouse. We had 8 adults and 4 kids. The house is perfect for families. Large house spacious enough for everyone. Rooms are decorated nicely, beds are comfy, kitchen has everything you need. We cooked every meal for the entire week. The yard is perfect for games and flows right into the water. This is a weedy lake but Jeff is doing above and beyond to keep them at bay for a nice area for the kids to swim in. Kids (all ages big and small) loved the paddle board and kayak. We fished from the yard and probably caught 75 fish or more. Kids loved that. It was truly a perfect week and couldnt have stayed in a nicer place. Would definitely stay again. Left a bottle of wine for the next guests hope they enjoy their stay as much as we did.
Home was above expectations. Nice newer furnishings and lakefront decor. Beds comfortable and having a master suite with bathroom was a big plus. Spacious kitchen with new appliances, even dishwasher, was fully stocked but had to move some of the cupboard contents around to store the groceries we brought for the week. Nice deck, deck furniture and grill but grease needed to be removed. We brought extra folding table for the deck to add to the deck table to accommodate our 8 adults and 3 children which worked out great to have all our dinners together on the deck, weather permitting. Beach and swimming for kids was great. Adults enjoyed kayak and paddle board provided. Life jackets provided. We also rented a pontoon boat as well from local marina which the dock easily accommodated. 2 aerators attached to the dock ran often to prevent weeds, etc. from growing in the swimming area were somewhat noisy. Appreciated the supply of firewood provided for the firepit near water, and yard games provided. Plenty of colorful adirondak chairs foreveryone. Large, well-kept yard with mature trees. Grandchildren had fun catching pan fish from the shore edge of the lawn. Enjoyed a little ride around the area seeing Amish farms and stores. Owners paid a lot of attention to detail. We had a great family vacation!
