Bernata Dessus vacation rental is beautifully poised on the coast of Gers, a quaint town with the languid pace of a France colonial village.

From the moment you enter this beachfront secluded sanctuary, with its fountains, spacious lush tropical gardens, intoxicating flowers, Hacienda-style architecture pools.

Feel the tension fade away from your life as you awaken in your plush Memory Foam King-size bed with cozy cotton linens in your ground floor, stunning ocean-view villa and begin sipping your freshly made espresso or smoothie from your padded lounge chairs on your ample private patio overlooking one of the pools.

And probably the most common of all past-times golf to your heart’s content at either of the world well known golf courses.

After a sunset margarita on your deck and a moonlit walk on the fantastic beach, you will fall sleeping listening to the ocean waves and be woke up by the sun in the morning.
Bernata Dessus vacation rental rates $85 per night. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Policy

  • In order to confirm your booking a deposit of 25% of the total amount is required within 7 days of your enquiry. If you book early, your deposit will secure your booking. So transfer your deposit as soon as possible.
  • The 75% balance amount should be transferred 6 weeks before the start of your rental period. For bookings made within 6 weeks of the arrival date full payment is required on confirmation. If you cancel your booking, your 25% confirmation-deposit will be refunded only if we find other guests for the same period.
  • A security deposit of €500 is payable at arrival, which will be refunded, minus any amounts due for breakages, extra cleaning or any other damage. Any refund due, after checking the property and contents, will be made either at your departure or at least within 1 week of your departure.

The Gers partially covers what used to be known as Gascony, mostly famous for its culture of good food, drinks and company.

Depending on the season and availability you can get both vegetables and animal produce from neighbouring farms. There are butchers, bakers, small supermarkets and other shops in the nearby villages of Villecomtal and Miélan, which also have weekly markets. There are several picturesque villages within easy reach, and besides Lourdes, there are several tourist attractions at Tarbes and Auch. Of course the Pyrénées offer a wide range of excursions, such as rafting and paragliding, La Mongie\'s ski-resort, the planetarium on the Pic du Midi, the Tourmalet pass and not too far away UNESCO’s natural heritage sites, Gavarnie and Mont Perdu. Furthermore, the Gers is known for its music festivals during summer, such as the world famous festival “Jazz in Marciacâ€, the Country festival at Mirande and Latin at Vic Fezensac. But our own \'festival\' runs continuously: on a background chorus of the sound of silence, ‘our music’ is perpetually composed and performed by nature: AWAY FROM IT ALL !!
