Description of the apartment:
Balcony overlooking canal with granite bar, table and 2 chairs. (This is in addition to the indoor dining table with 4 chairs.)
 
Bright and sunny living room with a 42" Samsung Flat screen TV.
Dining area with lots of windows.
Small kitchen with full-size refrigerator, full-size stove and full-size dishwasher.
Master bedroom with king bed, walk-in closet, and en-suite bathroom.
2nd bedroom with double bed. (Upon request, we can supply an additional twin bed, but it is a little crowded with both beds.)
 
Parking is included. There is a reserved duplex space for this apartment.
 
The apartment is located in Landfall, which is a small, pet-friendly, fairly close-knit, residential community. It is comprised of 15 apartments occupied by a mix of snowbirds, full time residents, and some vacationers. The ages range from a couple younger children to a few seniors and everything in between.

About the Owner

I am a US citizen but I spend most of my time here in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. My first trip here was in 1984, but I did not return again until 2004. In 2005 I decided to buy my first property here. Although I still maintain a lake house in Massachusetts, an apartment in Manhattan and an apartment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this is my home. In addition to the local Mexicans and Mayans, you will meet people from all over the world here. We have had guests from countries like Germany, Holland, South Africa, Israel and others, as well as Mexico, the US and Canada. Everybody who comes here falls in love with the place, and I am sure you will too. I fell in love with this place because of the spectacular ocean right in my back yard. The powder soft sand between my toes and the multi-colored ocean waters is enough to make you not want to go home!.

It was in the perfect location for us. It was clean and the neighbors were very nice and fun to talk to. Groceries, restaurants and shopping are all easily within walking distance. Everything they said in the discription of the property and area is true. We very much enjoyed ourselves. It was very relaxing for us.

Stayed here with my wife and kids and it worked out perfectly for us. Got some great pictures of sunsets from the balcony. The location is really convenient. The apartment was all new. I think we were one of the first renters since it was done over. The central air conditioning was a pleasure and the kitchen was fully outfitted. There are two major grocery stores nearby, plus two liquor stores and lots of other shops. The owner was very helpful. He even let us use his paddle boards. We will definitely go back again next winter.

My friends and I stayed here and couldn't ask for a better place The condo was extremely clean and spacious. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking. Plenty of restaurants nearby, shopping, beach amd nightlife all perfectly close. The view was spectacular of the canal and sunsets from our windows. You can sit outside on the deck as well. We had access to paddle boards and the owner was great and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended for a perfrct vacation spot. We are sure to return next year!
