A spacious, light and very well-equipped apartment. Friendly and helpful owners. Ideal for parking up a car to explore the city at comfort. Some great little shops nearby (our favourite was the gelataria). We did find the walk into the city tiring in the July heat but there's a bus stop around the corner with an excellent service (line D runs right through the historic centre). We loved our (a family of 4) stay here and would recommend it to anyone.
Hello everybody! First I want thank you that we had posssibility to spent lovely week in your Donati house (dario apt ) in June. Allthought it was really hot, we enjoy very much your garden in the evening and as we told to Luca, we saw firefly's first time in our life. Especially we want thank Luca who is very friendly to us and we want to send a picture which Marie took when we saw each other last time. Today was our first working day but the children have 4 weeks summer holiday left. I hope all of you very nice summer including some refreshing rainy days. Maybe little bit cooler Petteri, Marita, Marie and Sampo
My sister and I travelled to Florence and stayed at this wonderful, charming apartment. Communication with Dario was easy and he never tired of our questions and concerns beforehand-answering all emails promptly and with great care. We felt as if we knew him before we arrived! Which made it feel like we were staying with family. The apartment was everything as advertised! We loved the charm and the location, and being 2 women on their own, we appreciated the security and neighborhood. It was very clean and accommodating for anything we needed. The walk to town was reasonable and even enjoyable. We walked home many nights along the river. It did feel like our home. Circumstances prevented us from meeting the owner, unfortunately. He made sure that we were well taken care of, providing us with access to phone, email and people to care for us on arrival and departure. I would recommend this location and owner to anyone travelling to Florence! It was wonderful and I cannot thank Dario enough!
