Both bedrooms upstairs open onto a covered balcony with wonderful views of the garden, beach and Caribbean Sea.A new addition this year is the gazebo sited next to the beach a perfect place to read a book or set up for a romantic dinner, The dining and living areas are open plan and lead to a spacious patio with ample seating. Outside the well maintained gardens provide a lovely setting for daytime relaxation and wonderful views of the stunning sunsets. Whether you are staying for one week, two weeks or longer you are sure to have a truly memorable holiday here at Ebb Tide considered to be one of the finest private holiday villas on the island of Barbados.

Staff.

We employ a first class chef. that will prepare meals as good as any of the fine dining restaurants on the Island. Part of Marrisas training was at the Ashburton cookery school in the UK voted the number 1 school of cookery.

Your Maid / laundress Jackie looks after the house and all your personal laundry A real holiday for the Ladies. Henry is your personal discreet night security guard.Henry has been with us now for over 12 years.

Andrew is our house manager will be there to greet you. He can organize anything from the discounted case of wine to your boat trip. If you want relax in a hammock and read a book from our extensive book library or laze on a lounger in the sun or under a palm tree that is also provided,

during the season from June through November you may be lucky enough to see turtles laying on the beach or be visited by one of the green monkeys that pass through the garden.

We have 4 kayaks for guests to use if you are feeling energetic.Swimming out from the house is fantastic the is a sandy area directly out from our steps and the a fantastic reef perfect for snorkelling .

About the Owner

Wendy And I have owned Ebb Tide since 1996 when we bought it Ebb Tide was a small house with only a bug screen and bars at the windows.Over the years we have transformed Ebb Tide to the property we have now.The Major work was carried out in 2009 when most of the house was demolished and rebuilt.Last year we added the gazebo which has been a great addition .We still love to enjoy the house as a family each year we visit with our son Robert and his Wife Dan and there 2 children Heidi and Toby. We have made many Friends in Barbados both locals and guests that have stayed in Ebb Tide. Neil & Wendy Allen purchased this Villa in 1996

This was the most amazing place to be and to spend a special birthday with my family. The accommodation was outstanding and the care and attention we received from Jackie was second to none. Just as soon as you popped something into the laundry basket, it appeared miraculously clean and ironed later that day.Added to this, we had the most amazing meals, just as good as some of the finer restaurants on the West Coast, -breakfast, lunch and dinner - prepared by Merlisa and served outside on the balcony with the waves lapping at your feet. At night the property is guarded by Henry who ensures that everybody sleeps well in their beds. I can’t recommend Ebb Tide more highly and we have already booked our return!
