Guest couples and families have been saying nice things about Balsam Resort for a long time - some for as long as three generations! And, although we are always pleased to receive compliments, we really can't take credit for the remarkable natural setting, the gentle sand beach, the clear, clean lake, the tall pines and some of the most gorgeous sunsets - anywhere! We are the fortunate custodians of this. We do however take credit for adding the amenities you see before you, amenities that make it possible to experience and enjoy this natural phenomena in a high degree of comfort, and convenience. This is just the place for a quiet read ... but if a little more activity is in order, shuffleboard, horseshoes, badminton and a variety of lawn games are available. Indoor recreations include table tennis, bumper pool, darts, pinball and video games. At the waterfront, a slide, a float and a super sandy beach are the main attractions. Windsurfers, open motorboats and a sailboat are available for rental, while a canoe and paddleboat are provided. But if all this is too much, our "lending library" might yield an unread treasure! |
