Casa Sara is ideal living on the Island of Vieques. It blends beautifully with the surroundings and gives a feeling of peace and serenity after the hustle and bustle of modern life. The perfect climate, trade winds and proximity to gorgeous turquoise beaches makes Casa Sara the perfect choice for Island living. Located in a small neighborhood of friendly people, the two story traditional Caribbean house is perfectly situated to pick up the trade winds.

The ground floor living room is large and airy with displays of contemporary art and has a terrazzo floor. Its marble floor and deliberately minimal furnishings invite contemplation. The living room opens into a similar size kitchen/dining room featuring teak chairs, more art, washer and dryer and the usual kitchen appointments. The downstairs bath is fully tiled and features a terrazzo floored shower with grab bar. There is a lounging/daybed in the living room which can be used for sleeping. The central staircase creates a sense of airy spaciousness, which is carried throughout the open floor plan of Casa Sara.

Three bedrooms upstairs feature queen size beds, original art and lovely plantation style Imbua doors. There is a good size tiled bath with shower/tub. Two of the bedrooms open to the upstairs gallery. The third bedroom has views of the mountains and of backyard banana and mango trees. The traditional louvered windows throughout Casa Sara are perfect for taking advantage of the trade winds, letting in plenty of light without the full strength of the Caribbean sun at Latitude 19.
