This wonderful beach cottage has been completely remodeled in March 2016. It boasts open beam ceilings, a brand new kitchen, hardwood floors, huge outdoor covered deck and large fenced back yard. PLEASE NOTE: the main house shares the backyard and common laundry room with the guest quarters.

The space
This wonderful quaint beach cottage has been completely remodeled (finished in early 2016) with open beam ceilings, a brand new kitchen, hardwood floors, huge outdoor covered deck and large fenced back yard. The master bedroom opens up to the deck and has a king bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a 3/4 size twin bunk bed that can sleep a young teenager or child comfortably. (Option to add the Guest Quarters and sleep an additional 2 people in a queen bed and it adds another bathroom) The house has excellent freeway access, the grocery store is less than a tenth of a mile away and the beach and downtown are just a 1/2 mile walk with sidewalks. The driveway and a residential parking permit provides for 2 dedicated spaces at the house. We provide beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys to make your beach adventures complete.

Guest access
You'll have the full run of the house and the covered back deck. There is an attached Guest Quarters that shares the back yard grassy area/fire pit. They have there own entrance and small deck area. The washer and dryer are accessible by both units.

Interaction with guests
Brenda, mother of 4 kids (within 5 years) and engineer by degree, is wildly detail oriented and loves to share the coastal San Diego area with all guests, especially young families creating their beach memories.
Our family has lived in Solana Beach since 1993. Our family thoroughly enjoys sharing everything this area has to offer from the beaches, surfing, body surfing, mountain biking, trail running, hiking, shops to the restaurants.

We live just a few miles south if you need anything, otherwise I leave you to enjoy yourselves.

The Sea Glass house is a wonderful space! It worked really well for our small family, but the spectacular backyard (and fire pit) meant we could happily host a bigger family BBQ during our stay. The house is very quiet and gets a wonderful sea breeze in the evening. The house doesn’t have AC, but we didn’t need it during our stay and the all the fans and windows made cooling the house down easy. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. Brenda’s communication was nearly instantaneous, friendly and extremely accommodating. We will definitely be looking at staying at Brenda & Miriam’s properties in the future!
Great house for a trip to Encinitas ! The House was so cute and central to everything. House was totally clean and in great shape. Very nice deck also with a heat lamp and lots of space.
We have stayed in a handful of AirBnB listings and this was by far the best one yet! Not only were small children allowed, Brenda made it convenient and easy to bring our children along. The location was great and the house was perfect and cozy. We will definitely be back again!
Nice, bright, sunny space with cheerful decor. Close to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Had a pleasant stay! Brenda was quick to respond.
We had the best stay here. The yard is huge and extremely dog friendly. We watched the sunset every night from the hammock on the big deck and enjoyed both the BBQ and fire pit. The inside of the house was equally charming. It is very stylishly decorated but also comfortable. They even had a baby crib and high hair available which made traveling with our 7 month old a breeze! Brenda and Miriam were great communicators and very accommodating when we asked to make changes to our reservation. We highly recommend this we plan to come back for all trips to Encinitas!
