Location:

The apartment is near the Parallel, known in the past as a place full of theatres and cabaret bars. The Parallel of Barcelona, in the 70’s, used to be a sort of Montmartre in Paris and now you can say it is sort of a Broadway.

It is one of the biggest streets of the city and it connects Plaza de Espana with the Ramblas where you can get in 15 minutes walking. In front of the apartment you can also find the metro station L3 (Green Line) of Poble Sec, one of the main metro line to go to the Paseig de Gracia (where Gaudi’s houses are)and to the Parque Guell (one of the amazing projects of Antoni Gaudi).

The areas of Poble Sec and Parallel are very exciting and popular and there you’ll find a lot of good restaurants, bars, supermarkets and every kind of shops.

To do: a visit in the summer’s nights to Plaza de Espana. Every time at 9pm, its huge fountains begin a wonderful water show with music, colors and lights.
