Hello! My name is Vernon Hurst, and I would like to welcome you to my personal3 BR Holiday Rental cabin on the Blue River.  Looking for a get-away from the hustle and bustle of the city; or maybe you're like some of our patrons who are quite familiar with Blue and return year after year.  Then maybe Blue River Bed & Bath is exactly what you are looking for. Enjoy some time in a rustic log cabin on the banks of the beautiful Blue River, located about half way between Dallas, Texas and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  The 3 BR Holiday Rental cabin comfortably sleeps two couples and has an additional bunk room with two twin beds for the kids. Unfortunately, we do not accommodate any pets.  Smoking is prohibited inside the cabin, however ashtrays are provided on the front porch.

The cabin amenities include a kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and utensils.  You will need to bring food and drinks for your stay.  A gas grill is provided on the back porch. .  We also provide a poly cart for trash.  Please bag all trash before placeing it in the cart. There is satellite TV and a wood burning fireplace.  Firewood is provided.  A wall mounted propane heater helps to warm the cabin up till you get the fireplace going.  There is a window unit upstairs that provides the air conditioning.  There is also a fan mounted over the living room area
Though our name implies a bed and a bath; you do get the bed but will have to settle for a shower.  You can always just "go jump in the river".  Humor aside there is a fishing dock and a tree rope for the young at heart. Across the walk bridge is a picnic area that has running water and a concrete table.  A fire ring and log benches are just the ticket for those late night gatherings.  A flat bottom boat and canoe will let you explore the waterfalls a short paddle up the river.  There is a half mile of floatable river with the cabin located in the middle.  If you have any specific questions or special needs, we will try our best to accommodate your needs, just email or call.  I am constantly updating this site through the questions that you provide.

Additional Rate Information


Currently, we offer one great package!  For stays up to and including three nights the rate is a flat $425.00   Additional Nights are charged at $120/night.  There are no individual rates for one or two night stays.

We accept Visa/MC and cash.  A $125 deposit is required for all reservations. Cancellations received two weeks or more before the reservation date will receive a full refund of the deposit, credited back to the card.  The deposit for reservations cancelled less than two weeks in advance is nonrefundable.
 
Check in time is flexible.  Prior to your arrival, we will be in contact with you to give you directions to the cabin and to make arrangements to get you the keys.  We will return around noon on the day of departure to clean and pick up the keys.  Please feel free to call us or email us with any questions.
