Beehive Cottage is a beautiful 3 Storey mill cottage, and is situated in a peaceful backwater close to Cressbrook mill in the dramatic Monsal Dale. The cottage itself has some period features, and includes a wood burning stove for cosy nights in this lovely rural setting. There is also a south facing patio with garden furniture, where you can sit and enjoy relaxing to the sound of the river running through water-cum-jolly, and a small grassed garden below. The renowned Monsal Head pub sits at the top of the dale offering a roaring open fire and good food in a converted stable setting. There are spectacular views from there down Monsal Dale, and the surrounding area offers ample opportunity for walking,running, biking,climbing or visiting such historical places as Eyam,Bakewell,Chatsworth,and Haddon Hall, to name but a few. The Peak District is a wonderful national park, offering a wealth of opportunities to explore and enjoy beautiful countryside for both old and young alike. |

We require a £100 deposit cheque which will not be cashed unless there is damage or the cottage has not been left as it was found. If we need to get cleaners in then we will charge at their rate from the deposit cheque. Minor accidental damage will not be charged for, but we would appreciate you telling us that it has occured so that we can keep on top of replacement and renewals. |
