Two detached stone barn conversions, sleeping a total of 15 people, built around a traditional courtyard, in a glorious rural position, yet only 4 miles from a thriving market town. Home Barn is very spacious and large enough to act as a central relaxing and eating area if desired, while the Old Byre allows privacy and the ability for the youngest and perhaps the oldest in a family group to leave while the 'night owls' are still in full voice in the main barn. Located in idyllic Cotswold countryside, close to the Windrush valley and in the area of the old Wychwood Forest, yet within easy striking distance of Burford, Oxford, Blenheim, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. Nearby, on the banks of the Windrush, are the old ruins of Minster Lovell Hall and there are many other attractions and places of interest to be found locally. The Barns are comfortable and very fully equipped. Both are centrally heated and facilities include satellite TV and DVD players. There are plenty of books for those who decide to have a lazy day and large scale Ordnance Survey maps of the area are provided. Our guests also have the use of the three acre field next to the Barns, which contains some fifty varieties of wild flowers and plants. |
