The perfect situation of the house allows you to do a great variety of routes on foot or by bike around Banyoles lake. Also you can do different excursions around Girona's province since the house is situated in the middle of Girona's province. The house has an extensive collection of touristic information of the Pla de l'Estany region and the Girona's province.

Thank you for an excellent week here in La Cabanya - a beautiful comfortable and cosy little house. We have enjoyed the warm evenings and nights using the great outdoor area. The brilliant tourist information file was used extensively during the days. The beautiful Girona definitly needs a visit, and so does the beach at Empúries Ruins. Many thanks.
Just a superb place to stay, La Cabanya is a very well built, well appointed and well planned facility. Mata-Banyoles is peaceful, quiet and yet so close to big cities, sight & seeing, things to do.
