Description

Over 900 sq ft of decks on 3 levels with the prettiest views on the lake and a hot tub. 
 
Inside has a pool table, 3 large flat screen tv's, a Playstation, a fireplace and a wood stove in the master bedroom.   Full size washer and dryer. Towels and linens provided. Kitchen has everything you need but food. 
 
There are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, so our home is meant to sleep 6 adults . More adults are welcome, but only 3 queen  beds.Two of the bedrooms have room for air mattresses for the kids. we do provide one queen air mattress. 
 
we have Wi-Fi and a landline,free calls anywhere in us. 
pets are welcome,with a $50 fee for the weekend,100 for longer stays.
there is no smoking in the house,but outside and on the deck is fine.
the lakeviews are the best.
 
check in is at 2 and check out at 9,central time. if dates are open before or after, ask me and early arrival and late departure is fine. 100% refund if reservation is cancelled 30 days before your arrival,and a $300 deposit will reserve your dates with balance due 45 days before your arrival.
 
Wax marina is 1 mile away  and they rent boats, and gas and supplies are less than a half mile away. mammoth cave is 23 miles away,but takes about 40 minutes to get to tours.
guests have use of a canoe and a 2 person on top kayak for free. we also have a paddle boat and we supply all kinds of fishing poles and tackle.

About the Owner

About ron ransdell We have lived in Kentucky our whole lives, and are proud that our state has so many special things to offer. I work in Central Kentucky every day and never get tired of the green hills and beautiful lakes. We have 4 grown sons and 5 grandchildren, all fishermen. ron ransdell purchased this House in 2015 Why ron ransdell chose Clarkson I love Nolin Lake for boating, swimming, or fishing. It is hard to beat. I just wanted a place on the water where I could sit on my porch, drink coffee in the morning with a view of the water, not trees. And a dock where I could use my boat anytime, and not have to return a rental by 6. What makes this House unique I love the view of the lake from my deck. I love walking to the water(we have a pathway), sitting on the rocks fishing or just skipping rocks with the kids. I love occasionally seeing a bald eagle or a six pound bass jump clear out of the water for fun. I love sitting in the living room with a romantic blaze in the fireplace.

Very warm and welcoming, the owner has made this lake house a great place to come and relax.

The first impression was "Homely", we had wanted to get away with 2 other couples that we often vacation with, and just went for a long weekend. The lake was very quiet as this was off season, but the lake house was very welcoming. Fully stocked with every need, close to Wax Marina where we rented a pontoon for the day and just relaxed. The cute was nice as we looked down onto the lake from the large multi tier deck. There is a party to the water where fishing was good... the water was a little too warm to say it was Great fishing, but we expected this being late summer. The owner has fishing gear available for those that do not wish to load up their own Many thanks for allowing us to stay as this was our first trip to Nolin Lake, this will definitely be a consideration for our little get away.

The entire property was great. Really enjoyed the view with coffee. Home away from home is the truth. You had everything you needed for a short or long stay. Perfect hideaway. Can’t wait to plan my next visit.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay. We had a big family weekend fun, and we’re so happy we spent it here. The owner was amazing, and easy to work with. The house was plenty of space, for everyone including the dogs. We will forsure be coming back here next time.

We had everything we needed for our stay! Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace for the holiday weekend. It got so cold, the key lockbox got frozen and we couldn't put the key back in! Want to visit again when we can enjoy the summer activities!
