Delight in the experience of 'owning' a 730 acre ranch which includes a 500 acre ISLAND in the Payette River to get away from it all.

You will be the ONLY GUESTS, so you can set your own schedule, your own activities, as well as your own pace.

Enjoy all of the 730 acre private working cattle ranch which includes the 500 acre Island bordered by 2 miles of the PAYETTE RIVER on one side and BIG CREEK on the other - only share all of this with the wildlife, cows, and owner.

Relax in rustic comfort in a 2-bedroom, 1450 square foot Retreat, SLEEPS 6.

The second floor Retreat has spectacular PANORAMIC VIEWS looking to the west of Big Creek, the Island meadows and West Mountain.

Early risers can often see ELK just beyond their window crossing Big Creek to get to the Island's main meadow in the spring and summer.

Looking east enjoy any ranch activities or just enjoy the INCREDIBLE BEAUTY of Long Valley and East Mountain.

Hike, picnic, run, bike, bird or paint utilizing the miles of trails or in winter ski or snowhoe on the property.

Area activities include: river rafting, fishing, kayaking, backpacking, mountain biking, trail riding, water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, lake tours, natural hot springs, and in the winter ice fishing, cross country skiing, alpine shiing, snow tubing, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. We have two ski resorts within 25 to 40 miles and 5 golf courses with one only 6 miles from the Retreat.

Policy

  • 50% of the rent is due at the time reservation is made, with balance due upon check in, or as arranged with Management.
  • Smoking And Pets Are Not Allowed. A Minimum Charge Of $100 will be deducted from The Damage Deposit if any evidence is found.
  • Cancellation Policy: You may receive a refund of up to 100% of your total rental payment if you provide written notice of cancellation at least 30 days prior to your arrival date.
  • A $200. security deposit is due at check in and is refundable.
