We would like to welcome you to Sea Cliff Cottages. Perched on a hill overlooking the beach and islands below, these five self-catering cottages have become the “Caribbean home away from home” for many of our returning guests. The cottages are spread over several acres of grounds covered with fruit trees and flowers. Each one has its own yard, which adds to our guests’ privacy.
The cottages are simple, but very comfortable, and have been built with the environment and surrounds in mind. We have tried to leave a small footprint on the earth, staying away from the over-large, resort style of accommodation, but still supplying our guests with all of the comforts and amenities that are important for an enjoyable holiday. Our hot water is solar heated and our primary source of electricity is from solar panels. Our swimming pool is the ocean with the river to rinse off the salt and we compost our organic waste to use in the vegetable and flower gardens.

Studio Cottage #1
Our smallest cottage (about 500 square feet) is set up for one or two people.
Cosy and intimate, it has a complete kitchen, dining alcove and three piece bathroom with hot shower.
The bed sitting room has a queen size bed and plenty of closet and drawer space.
A large balcony looks out over the sea below. Tile floors and natural hardwood furnishings are featured throughout.
As with the other units a variety of fruit trees are planted around the cottage for you to sample when in season.
Two Bedroom Cottage #2
This is an ideal spot for families or a larger group. Lots of yard space for children to run and play as well as gardens and shade trees for more peaceful strolling. Tiled floors and cathedral ceilings lend a cool spacious feeling to the house and a full length balcony faces the sea.
The main bedroom has a queen-size bed..... a double bed with a single bunk over is in the second bedroom. A futon couch in the living room folds down into a double bed if extra space is required. As in the other cottages the kitchen is fully equipped, including a blender and juicer for those who enjoy the odd rum punch. The three piece bathroom has a hot shower. There is an additional shower outside for rinsing off and a BBQ if you wish to use it.
Cable TV, as well as wi-fi and a cell phone are provided for your enjoyment, and a washing machine is also available.
One Bedroom Cottage #3
This cottage is a pretty little one bedroom dwelling. As in the other houses there are cathedral ceilings and tile floors throughout. The bedroom has a queensize bed and an ensuite 3 piece bathroom. A complete kitchen setup, dining area and sitting room provide you with ample space to relax in. This cottage is wired for both 220 and 110 volts and comes with cable TV.
The back of the cottage looks out over the pineapple garden and fruit trees and is shaded by a huge ancient mango tree. The balcony in the front looks out to the sea and islands below. The fold down futon couch in the living area can be used as a double bed if extra sleeping space is required.
One Bedroom Home #4
This creatively designed cottage is perfect for those couples who want a little extra space and seclusion. Cathedral ceilings and terracotta floors lend a cool Caribbean feel to the rooms. A large dining and kitchen area with beautiful wood cabinetry is next to a comfortable sitting room. Seven foot sliding glass doors lead out onto a large balcony that you can enjoy in total privacy.
The view is truly spectacular... waves breaking on the far side of the island and the river valley and mountains to the south. A perfect spot for sunrise breakfasts or evening dinners.
The bedroom has a queen sized bed and there is ample dresser and closet space. One of the futon couches in the living room folds down into a double bed if extra sleeping space is required. The cottage is wired for both 110 and 220 volts and there is cable TV and washing machine for your convenience. A large stone barbecue is situated among the fruit trees in the yard for those who prefer their fresh fish with a smoky flavor.
If extra space is needed, there is a self-contained apartment located beneath the main cottage. With bathroom,kitchenette, and a double bed, it is ideal when larger groups wish to vacation together but still have a certain amount of privacy. This apartment is only rented in conjunction with the main cottage.
Two Bedroom Cottage #5
With another spectacular view, this two bedroom cottage was designed in a similar manner to the one bedroom home with double french doors leading on to a private balcony facing the sea. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and the second bedroom has a double bed with an upper single bunk to sleep 3 people.
Like the others this cottage is tiled throughout with a full kitchen, bathroom with large shower, and an outdoor dining area on the patio as well as the indoor dining area. The 60 gallon solar hot water tank provides ample water for a family and the lighting is provided by a mixture of solar and municipal power. There is cable TV, and a washing machine for your use. A cell phone is provided along with free wifi for those with their laptops. |

Our second trip to Dominica. We have been looking forward since last year to returning to Sea Cliff. It was a pleasure to finally meet Jim and Gwen and see Gweneth, Augustus and Pascal again. Jim and Gwen, thank you. We have never felt so cared for and ay the same time so secluded and independant. If you can tear yourself away from the view, the breeze, the sounds of the birds and surf.....

Last time we stayed in Roseau and finished in the north. This time we wanted to start in the north because of the extraordinary beauty of this part of the island. I have no doubt we will be back again. The cottages are in a superb location and the beaches are perfect here.
