A peaceful, unspoilt, sandy beach, close to Skyrail, Tjapukai, Cairns Tropical Zoo and the gateway to Kuranda, Cairns Highlands (Atherton Tablelands), Port Douglas, Daintree and Cape Tribulation. Close to everything and gateway to everywhere.
Just a short stroll from the apartment, you have restaurants, take aways, coffee shop, IGA supermarket, bottle shop, post office, hairdressers/beauty salons, licensed clubs, video shop. An 18 hole GOLF COURSE, Half Moon Bay, is just two par fives from our apartments. They offer discounted green fees for our guests ($30 for 18 holes). Yorkeys Knob Boat and Yachting Club serve meals and drinks on the deck overlooking Half Moon Bay, the marina and Double Island. They have pokies, keno, pool tables and offer courtesy bus service.

Drive North along the Cook Highway for 11 kilometres - take the third round-about turn right. (first is Machans Beach, second is Holloways Beach and third is Yorkeys Knob Beach). Travel along Yorkeys Knob Rd/Varley Street turn right just past the shops (on the left hand side) into Wattle Street. Drive to the end of Wattle Street. Turn right onto Sims Esplanade – Oceansprey is on the right
Regular bus services operate to Cairns and Smithfield Shopping Centre. Bus stop is opposite the apartments.

I just wanted to thank you for helping to make our trip so special. We had a wonderful time in Australia and I will never forget the time that we had down under. The appartment was beautiful and the view was even better. I loved my morning walks on the beach. Sorry that it took so long to thank you, but things were crazy upon our return to the US.
