Description

Buxton has been providing comfort to travellers since at least the Roman times. Our aim is to maintain this tradition and to offer comfortable accommodation and warm hospitality.

Accommodation in this spacious nine bedrooms vacation rental Edwardian house, quietly situated, but very close to the town centre, comprises 5 double, 2 twin and 2 single rooms arranged on the ground and first floors.

There are at least two dozen good restaurants in the town and we are within a few minutes walk of many of these.

Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Just a big thank you for allowing us to stay in your house last week, the whole area was lovely but your place was definitely the icing on the cake... I wouldn’t think twice about recommending your facilities to any of my friends, it really was that good.

All rooms are decorated and furnished to the highest standards. All nine rooms benefit from full en-suite facilities, with bath and shower, or shower only. Complimentary toiletries are provided.

Relax with a nice cup of tea after a busy day exploring. Each room is supplied with a kettle and refreshment tray containing a selection of teas, coffee, horlicks, hot chocolate and biscuits. We are happy to supply fresh milk on request. A complimentary bottle of Buxton mineral water is also provided.

Each room is equipped with a colour TV, alarm clock and hair dryer. Ironing boards and irons are available on request. We have private off road parking for guests.

Policy

For all bookings we require a deposit of £20 per room per night to confirm the booking. We accept most major credit cards, or cheques. Please ensure your deposit reaches us within 10 days of making the booking. We will send you an email or letter confirming the booking and letting you know what the outstanding balance is. The balance is due on departure.

Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract. Deposits are fully refundable in the event of 7 days notice of cancellation. In the case of less than 48 hours notice, we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the first nights stay. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately.

We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Please note, we reserve the right to refuse one night bookings at certain busy times, i.e. during Bank Holidays, Festival and on-season weekends. However, there may, on occasion, be some last minute availability. Please phone for further information.
