The Old Rectory at Flixton, near Bungay on the Suffolk/Norfolk border offers four one-bedroom vacation rental cottage. Built in 1872, it nestles next to the village church in grounds of 7 acres which are a haven for wildlife.We aim to ensure your stay at The Old Rectory is memorable for all the right reasons – a chance to relax; recharge your batteries and maybe become reacquainted with your partner.

The four spacious cottages have been decorated and furnished to a very high standard, whilst retaining period features where possible. They have received a 4-Star Quality in Tourism Award. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Short breaks are available from October until 1st May. We also offer evening meals prepared using local ingredients and served in your cottage.

The village local is a short stroll away, and Flixton is the home of the fascinating Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum. The cottages are ideally placed for those wishing to walk or birdwatch.

The nearby market towns of Bungay, Harleston and Beccles offer a charming range of individual shops; Norwich with its excellent cultural and shopping facilities is 19 miles away from The Old Rectory. The Suffolk Heritage Coast is also within easy driving distance.
