The space
MODERN CUBE is one of the most advanced houses in the world based upon German Passivhaus design combined with Eco Elements, Natural Interior finishes integrated with an Ultra-Modern European aesthetic. The intention was to fully express the forest by minimizing the structure. As a Passive House, it is oriented South for Solar gain with beautiful Mountain views and doorstep casual and rustic hiking trails. Our home features European quality natural beds and natural luxury linens, a gourmet chef's kitchen, high ceilings, and a gas fireplace. After you experience the excitement of Boulder, we offer a serene sophisticated mountain retreat to relax and rejuvenate.
The third floor is the master suite with a sitting room, master bathroom, and master bedroom with a California King and magnificent views of the mountains. The second floor has four bedrooms with two queens and one full, one bedroom has a bathroom and the other three share a bathroom. The basement has a guest suite with a queen bed and bathroom.

Other things to note
This is an ultra luxury home for a very sophisticated and mature traveler and not suitable for use as a party house. We do have a bee hive on the land and there are wasps in the area. There is a guesthouse nearby where there are often guests staying so you probably will not have 100% privacy during your stay - If this is an issue, please consider choosing another home. Colorado is either muddy or dusty so we ask that you remove your shoes so we can maintain the beauty of the hardwood floors. Although our home is Modern in design our Heart is warm so please relax and enjoy the experience. Our intention is for our guests to have a luxury experience including, but not limited to, a natural bed, European quality towels and linens, basic hygienic supplies and food and drink basics. If you need more or have special requests before or during your stay, please ask and we will do our best to serve. We may not be able to meet the needs of every guest, but we strive to meet your needs.

Amazing location! Highly recommended.
Mark and Kim's home is lovely. What a memory! Mark and Kim have such an eye for design and such an instinct for thoughtful details. From the lovely snacks upon arrival, the local beers and the bottle of wine to the organic bath amenities. The home is an architectural wonder in a glorious setting of nature with the charm of Boulder just a stone's throw away.
The house was fabulous and exactly as depicted. Mark was a great host, super communicative and very hospitable! Everything from the toiletries to the expansive views were incredible. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Boulder area.
This house is exactly what you see at the picture. Modern and very well thought through. All the materials used are the highest quality and it was clear for me that this unit was established with love and mind dancing all together.
