Minster Cottage offers self catering accomodation for a maximum of eight people in a variety of twin and double rooms. The cottage has been sensitively renovated to retain many traditional features including beamed ceilings, an orginal slate fireplace with wood burning stove and slate flagstone flooring. A short walk from the picturesque National Trust harbour and South West coastal path Minster Cottage provides the ideal base to explore the North Cornish Coast and surrounding moors. The cottage welcomes one well behaved dog. The cottage is no smoking. Originally a 17th Century farm cottage, Minster Cottage has been maintained to a high standard to provide quality holiday accommodation comprising four bedrooms for up to eight people. Downstairs is a small entrance lobby leading into open plan living and kitchen / dining areas all with original slate floors. The living area also features a traditional slate fireplace with stove for wood / coal fires and is furnished with a TV, DVD, CD player, and luxury leather sofas. The kitchen/ dining area is spacious and well lit with natural light from ceiling skylights and offers access to the side of the house via a stable door. It is well equiped with fitted units, a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, electric oven and hob and a full range of cutlery, crockery and utensils.
Downstairs also boasts a spacious en-suite twin bedroom featuring a victorian fireplace and window seat. The en-suite comprises toilet, shower and wash basin. Upstairs are two further double bedrooms and a single room featuring cabin bed which can be converted into two single beds. All have window seats with views across Minster Valley and are furnished with bedside cabinets, wardrobes and chest of drawers. A cot is available on request. The main bathroom is also situated upstairs and comprises a toilet, bath (with shower attachment), sink, heated towel rail and electric light/ shaver point. Additional heating is provided within the property via night storage heaters. Outside is a small walled front garden with a seating area, patio furniture and space for a BBQ. There is ample unrestricted on-street parking on two sides of the property.
