The house is full of rooms and large spaces for big groups to gather inside and outside . kitchen and main dining room are perfect to get all together and there are also plenty more rooms for card games, puzzle, outdoor dining (great porch) at different levels. Each bed room has its style but they are all very spacious. Quiet place and easy to get downtown or to the beach bicycling or walking.
This is our third summer at this great Block Island home. We are 8 adults, and 9 grand-children. We come together every summer for family, fun, and laughter. The bedrooms are roomy and well appointed. Each adult couple has their own private bathroom. There is a wonderful deck that surrounds three sides of this home - great for morning coffee and evening sunsets. There are two refrigerators and the kitchen can easily produce meals to feed a large group as does the wonderfully large dining table and extra seating around the large breakfast bar. The manager of this property is a wonderful, accomadating, individual, who readily responds to the needs of her renters. We would not consider renting a different property nor would we consider renting from another person. Love this home, it provides our family with a terrific week of togetherness under one roof.
Sandy's block is a great house for a large group and very conveniently located a short walk to town. Highly recommend this house
Clean, easy to get to town, perfect location!
We could not have been happier with finding this house. With a big, multi-generational family to accommodate, this was the greatest fit. We all enjoyed the deck in the morning and had so much fun exploring the Island all day. The weather cooperated so nicely for us and the wedding was beautiful down on the beach. We are all speaking of coming back for an anniversary trip!
