I found this home on a magazine years a go and started to visit Vieques. The home has the great advantage of being in a central location, therefore everything is close by. On the other hand it is on a hill and there is total privacy, we loved to enjoy the beach in the morning and relax at the pool in the afternoon. The outdoor SPA and the complimentary espresso are a plus. The island is laid back, good restaurants, some a little overpriced. We loved to be free and take our clothes off, this is the perfect space to be 'au nature'! I always come with a small group of friends and we definitely would like to own a property here one day. I highly recommend Vieques and Villa Gallega. Joao.

My young daughter, myself, and 2 good friends enjoyed this slice of paradise for two weeks. The gigantic pool is a great plus here. The kitchen is small but perfectly equipped to prepare good fresh meals. We liked the 3 levels of the home, it gives separation and privacy, when other family members want to take a nap or just enjoy reading a book or watching a movie. It's imperative to have a car, the most beautiful beaches on Vieques are only accessible via Jeep and are just minutes away. We loved Sunbay and Blue beach. The restaurants are quite fine, there is even one down the hill, and it was great to just walk there for dinner or cocktails. We come to Vieques since 2001, and we keep coming back. We highly recommend Villa Gallega to those looking for a low key and positive energy vacation. Here everything just feels good, the views, the breeze, the service, and the open space with high ceilings. We booked already another stay. Sabrina

I am book writer and a pianist, this was the best vacation ever, the villa is fine, minimal, on a hill overlooking the ocean. It has great decks and it is quiet. I loved the small restaurants and that the beaches are all very close. It was a great plus to be able to get a maid service every couple of days and to have internet access. I finished my book and I am available to give references. I rented the whole villa again for 2 weeks in August, that's how much I loved this home and Vieques. Alexandra
