Description

Welcome to our cabin at Maggie's Farm, just 45 minutes from the Asheville airport and all that Asheville has to offer. We have designated wifi service for internet and internet cell phone calling for those who need to stay in touch. Our little town is called Brevard, it is the county seat and a very quaint college town with sidewalk cafes, restaurants, breweries, art and music with lot of outdoor activities on the rivers and mountain trails. We are close to all of the Western North Carolina attractions, The Biltmore, Sliding Rock, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Breweries, Maggie Valley, Cherokee Casino, Hendersonville, Waynesville, mountain hiking and biking, canoe, tubing, zip lining trout fishing and more. It's a place you will want to return over and over again. We have a stocked pond with Rainbow trout and Bream along with a trout stream with natural brown trout. You can completely relax and rejuvenate here. The cabin is very clean, fresh and updated. It has a large fully equipped eat in kitchen, both bedrooms have quality, comfortable queen sized beds with memory foam for a restful nights sleep. The back covered deck is a great place to hang out, relax, read a book, or try your fishing skills for native brown trout. The huge patio overlooks crystal clear Tucker Creek, (10 feet wide and 1-4 feet deep) and features a gas BBQ grill, with patio table & chairs. Tucker Creek is a cold water creek that is full of quartz crystal rocks. The cabin borders thousands of acres of the PISGAH NATIONAL FOREST with Trailheads and Forestry roads all around. The wildlife abounds. You may see turkey, deer, bear, Canadian geese, ducks, blue heron, Bald Eagles and more.

Mountains and trout, what more can you ask for!
Bob M.

Very nice stay. The cabin is comfortable and well maintained, and having sheep and the donkey around a real plus. The big porch a nice asset on rainy evenings. Out hosts were super as was was the fishing in the area. We'll come again.

Beautiful location with privacy on the creek side and great host.
Ken A.

We brought our 5 yr. old grand daughter, Aurora, with us and we all enjoyed the farm. Aurora helped feed the trout and the sheep. Something she looked forward to each day. It's just a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway with plenty of places to hike. The best part of Maggie's farm are the host. Mark & Jackie are both great and make you feel at home from the first greeting to the last hug and good-bye. Great place and we will be going back for another stay as soon as we can.

Wonderful place and wonderful hosts!
Melinda L.

I couldn't imagine a more wonderful visit and stay than Maggie's Farm and the hosts, Mark and Jacquie. The cabin was everything I had wanted and more. Mark and Jacquie could not have been any more accommodating or hospitable. I just wish we could've stayed longer. I will stay there again though. The cabin is awesome, right down to the very detail. Jacquie and Mark have thought of anything that might be needed in the cabin and have supplied. We loved our stay there and were instantly relaxed and comfortable both with the cabin and Jacquie and Mark. The location and the view from the cabin is spectacular. Our 8 year old grandson had a blast splashing in the creek, building a fire in the fire pit and catching fish in the pond. And that was all done on the farm! We all enjoyed the magnificent waterfalls close by. This whole experience was remarkable. We will be going back. I would recommend this place to everyone. Thanks Mark and Jacquie for many great memories!
