Whether you are seeking a family vacation, snowmobiling enjoyment, a peaceful retreat, a romantic getaway, or you would like to fish, hike, canoe, kayak, or swim, you will find what you are looking for at the AuTrain Island View Lodge. Just a few steps from your front deck you will be awed by the beauty of Lake Superior.  We have just finished a complete remodel as of Summer 2009!

Michigan's Upper Peninsula has nationally ranked snowmobiling trails, numerous waterfalls, hiking trails, kayaking, canoeing and other water activities and even one of the most beautiful sand beaches just minutes away for either swimming or walks in the moonlight.  If you are interested in fishing or admiring Lake Superior, we have a beautiful spot with rocky ledges leading out into shallow waters.  You will be able to fish off these ledges for rainbow trout and spearhead.  Less than an hour drive from a major airport.  Come stay with us and you will understand why AuTrain, Michigan is considered Michigan's best kept secret!
