It was a very clean and convenient location to all the Disney sights. Very easy to travel back and forth daily. Only concern was the traffic - you can hear I-4 and that took a little getting used to at night. If you are sensitive to traffic noise bring ear plugs. All in all a very nice stay and would stay again.
This is the second year we've 'snowbirded' here for a couple of months in the winter. (This year we stayed February/March.) First, the location can't be beat. You're pretty much about as close to Disney as you can get without actually being on Disney property. We got season passes this year and headed over to the parks and water parks almost every day. The proximity makes it extremely accessible. The apartment has been updated from last year, which is great as that was one of the only complaints I had about our accommodations then. Word on the street is that the resort itself had poor management that was pocketing money from the private owners (like this one) and not making improvements. That manager has since moved on and now it's clear the resort is dedicated to making everything better. The internet is vastly improved, the pool is nicely heated, and private users have access to the (somewhat limited) gym (which was barred previously). We like staying in the 7 building in particular. Even though it's close to I-4 and you pick up a little freeway noise, building 7 has a cozy secluded feel even though it's still close to the rest of the resort. It's kind of starting to feel like home here. This isn't a place for amenities like a Disney resort (bring your own shampoo/conditioner/soap, etc), but you can't beat it for the price and proximity to Disney.
