Hemraj, the owner, is very easy and friendly to communicate with. The house is in a great location and especially the roof terrace is amazing. For snorkeling, try the Balaclava public beach. For great cakes and pastries, try the baker on the road to Pointe aux Piments. And there is a fantastic fish shop in Triolet (driving from Balaclava a blue house on the right towards the end of the town). You definitely need a car if you stay here - as for most places on Mauritius.
