This year round executive style cottage offers a refuge for folks who seek a beautiful lakeside setting to unwind, but do not want to be spared any of the city luxuries. This 3 level home with a large number of windows and cathedral ceilings provides a very open bright atmosphere. Both a wrap around deck which covers 2 1/2 sides of the home and a large patio allow you to enjoy the outdoors and provide a splendid panoramic view of the lake. Whatever your preference: hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, bird watching, star gazing, golfing , skiing or just relaxing, Dam Lake (and it's surrounding area) has it all. The National capital Ottawa with all its attractions is only 30 minutes away.
Extras include a fire pit situated on the patio offering the warmth of a campfire on a cool night.
Air conditioning is available for those hot humid days of summer.
Waterfront: Lakeside facilites include a large deck connected to a floating dock used for both boating, swimming or fishing. The lake has Bass, Pike, and Lake Trout.

1st level. Spacious living room with vaulted cedar ceilings and wood fireplace. Entertainment center includes Widescreen TV/Blueray DVD/Stereo with satellite.
Modern well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffeemaker, microwave, and all required cooking, baking and eating utensils for normal home use.
Dining room with good size birch table comfortably sits 8 people.
2nd Bedroom contains queen size bed. 3rd bedroom with combination double/single bunk bed.
Lower level.(basement) Small 4th bedroom with 2 single bunk beds and an extra single.( 3 singles) better suited for kids. Unfinished recreation room with second TV and a ping pong table. Washer and dryer.
A large interlock patio exists in front of the cottage with 1 table and the firepit.
Lakeside facilites include a large deck connected to a floating dock used for both boating and swimming. A kayak, and canoe are provided as well as lifejackets. While most of the shoreline is rocky, a small sandy area does exist which could be used for wading toddlers.
$400 dollars damage deposit required. Sheets are only provided for king size bedroom along with all pillows and blankets except for international guests who would be required to pay a small additional cost for linens. Minimum age of 26 for group of adults.

High season pricing is $1600 for 6 days or $1850 for 7 days from Mid June to end of first week in September, Low season pricing is $1275 wk(7 days) or $1100(6 days), $550 weekend only available for low season only. Pricing is $1500 wk for Christmas time but does not include New Year's Eve or day. Normal high season week goes Sunday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. Flexible in start date and duration for all other times.(2 night minimum) Couple has $50-!00 deduction during low season. |

We rented this cottage for two weeks. It was very spacious for the 6 of us. The bedrooms are all very comfortable, the bathrooms well furnished (so nice to relax in the jacuzzi after an afternoon of canoeing on the lake). The kitchen is quite big and very well equipped. There was often 3 of us cooking at the same time without problem. The view on the lake is just incredible. It's so nice to wake up and have this view. We had access to the 3 boats so we could all go on the lake at the same time. The cottage is in a relatively remote area but still had very good internet! It's only 10 minutes away from the closest shop and about 45 minutes from Ottawa.
We have had the pleasure of staying at this cottage for part of our Summer family holiday for the last 4 years. Throughout this time, we have found the owner pleasant, forthcoming and helpful in any way he can to make our stay most relaxing. The lake is beautiful and quiet; the cottage is most comfortable. The A/C is very nice to have especially this summer. We highly recommend this cottage which is just a 35 minute ride from downtown.
My wife and i, my kids and a couple of friends stayed at the Ledlow cottage last weekend for a 3 night stay. The whole process of renting with Roger was a breeze and easy. The cottage is very well located. Everthing we needed was in the cottage. The place is very well maintained, clean and has all you need to have a great stay. Will definitely rent again.
