All guests rooms in the 1853 national landmark Plough house have queen-size beds (see Studio for king-size bed), private baths, reading chairs and some with desks. A sitting room with a fireplace, movie and book library and service kitchen to store or heat up food is also in this building. Located across the street from the UW Arboretum (1280 acres of ecologically restored woodland, prairie, and native communities), the 1800s landmark and annex addition are surrounded by native gardens and mature trees. On the city's near-west side, the inn is 5-10 minutes to any Capitol or campus site. Arbor House is just a mile from Camp Randall Stadium, 1.5 miles from the Kohl Center, and walking distance to Lake Wingra and popular neighborhood shops and restaurants. |
