The cabin has 2 bedrooms and one bath, a full kitchen, living and dining area, picnic table and grill on the deck, cable TV and DVD, stereo, and a wood stove which opens in front for an open fire experience. One bedroom has a queen size bed and a set of extra long bunk beds. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. Six can sleep comfortably. What is called a pond in New England is generally considered a lake by people elsewhere. Embden Pond measures nearly five miles long and has a surface area of 1568 acres. Its maximum depth is 180 feet, but the shores slope gently so that swimming and wading are easy and convenient. |
