In the Stars is a spacious, quiet, comfortable four bedroom private home nestled next to the national park in Coral Bay on the Majestic Mile of the Carolina Ridge Top. Value priced for family or group vacations, In The Stars offers the unique opportunity to entertain large gatherings in comfort along with many private spaces for relaxing, retreating and revitalization. Enjoy the view and lap pool during the day, and at night the bright stars.

On the Upper Level, the bedrooms are on either side of the great room for maximum privacy. The Sunrise Bedroom on the east side of the house has a four-poster Queen bed, large dresser and a large chair and ottoman for relaxing and reading in comfortable privacy. The French doors open onto a large deck with chaise, perfect for sunning during the day, or looking for shooting stars at night. There is a walk-in closet complete with a safe to store your laptop or other valuables, and access to the washer and dryer. The bath here has custom stonework and a 4’ by 6’ walk-in stone and tile shower.

The Sunset Bedroom on the west side has a flexible arrangement with 2 extra-long twins that easily convert into a true King bed. This bedroom also has a large dresser and a comfortable chair and ottoman, and French doors that open onto another sun-deck. There is a walk-in closet here with a safe as well, and a full bath complete with a shower and bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak, or to clean up the little ones at the end of the day.

Both Bedrooms have recessed low-level lighting for setting a mood, and overhead lights and bedside lamps for reading or dressing.

The Magenta Bedroom has the same flexible arrangement of 2 extra-long twins that covert to a King as the Sunset bedroom. It also features a comfortable chair, a large dresser, and a closet with safe. The en-suite bathroom here also has custom paint and stencils done by Ms. Perry and a 4' by 4' custom tile shower.

Policy

We require a 50% deposit to reserve your rental and the balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.

  • 1 BR: $3480/week
  • 2 BRs: $3900/week
  • 3 BRs: $4400/week
  • 4 BRs: $4968/week

Off Season – April 15th to December 15th:

  • 1 or 2 Bedrooms: $3000
  • 3 or 4 Bedrooms: $3700

Christmas (Dec 21st to Jan 4th):

  • $7500 per week with minimum 7 day stay

Additional nights over 7 will be prorated from the weekly rate.

About the Owner

We purchased this property in St John in 1985 and built our house in 1995. We added the pool and downstairs rooms in 2004. We recently moved to North Carolina from New Jersey and are enjoying our new neighborhood in Cary,NC. Just be sure to bring your sunscreen so you don't wind up looking like us in our photo (actually from a Halloween party a few years ago- we went as tourists.)
