Our air conditioned villa is standing in the first row of a private supervised residential resort with a breathtaking view of the 15-mile Valcros Valley overlooking the Valcros Golf Course. It is sitting on the first Hills of the Massif des Maures between Hyères (9 mi/14 km) and St.Tropez (30 mi/45 km) and 6 miles (10 km) from the Mediterranean Sea Beaches, and 5 miles (9 km) from the City of La Londe les Maures, where all services are available, supermarkets, hair dressers, dry cleaning, drug store,... The Master Bedroom, the Living Room and the Den open on the Terrace where Rosé Wine, or other aperitifs, are enjoyed and Meals are served... or cooked on the Provençal Bar-B-Q. The fenced and gated Private Garden opens on a pedestrian walk that leads to the Resort Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts and Pétanque Court (Provençal Lawn Bowling, sort of), a 5-min walk. A rollout awning over the picnic table provides shade if you prefer the Terrace to the shade of Mimosas and Eucalyptus Trees growing on the lot. The City offers all services: bakeries, supermarkets, butchers, restaurants, dry cleaners, hair dressers, drug stores, etc.
Accessible from the following airports: Toulon-Hyères (20 minutes), Marseille (1¼ hr) and Nice (1¾ hr.). Major Car Rental counters at all locations. A description of the route plus additional details will be available if interest is shown or at reservation time.
The Air Conditioned Master Bedroom comes with a King Size bed, the Guest Room with a Queen Size bed, the Den has a Full Size Double 7-inch thick foam mattress sofa-bed. The Bathroom has a bath with shower, lavatory and washing machine and hair dryer, with a separate WC. The Bathroom in suite to the Master Bedroom has a complete Bathroom with glass-walled Italian style shower. Since the Villa is our dwelling during the winter months, the Kitchen, with microwave/grill oven, fridge, toaster, cook top and dishwasher is equipped with more accessories that you will need during your stay, either for cooking or for setting the table. We leave basic items like flour, sugar, oil, rice, herbs and spices, mustard, ketchup, and the like on the premises to make your stay more enjoyable and save on your shopping.
The Dining/Family Room is equipped with table and chairs with additional chairs, table and lounging chairs on the terrace. Flatscreen TV sets are provided in the Family Room, with satellite signal, and the Master Bedroom, with TNT signal. HiFi, VCR and CD player available in the Family Room. Cleaning service is provided at the end of the stay.
The Villa is centrally located with easy access to Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Toulon, Avignon, Juan-les-Pins, Cannes, Nice and the Gorges du Verdon, the French Grand Canyon, and all the gorgeous and famous Medieval Villages of Provence in between, all within a ½ to 2-hour drive from the villa. Only a few miles away are beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean Sea where food and drinks are available during the High Season. The open air Markets in the area are worth visiting, especially the Saturday market in and around the Old City of Hyères... 12th Century. On Sundays it is in La Londe les Maures. The Vineyards of Provence are worth visiting and sampling. |

We spent a wonderful week in a villa located in the mountains near a small village "La Londe les Moures" very welcoming. All in all, everything was adequate and in accordance with the descriptions provided by the owner who by the way sent us a wealth of information about the surrounding points of interest. We discovered beautiful beaches and very friendly people.
This house was the nicest rental we've ever experienced - we immediately felt "at home". It's nicely decorated, well-equipped, well-maintained, is quiet & private & has a to-die for view! The layout of the house was ideal for 2 couples & the price was right. We would rent it again in a heartbeat & highly recommend it in every way.
The pictures and descriptions do not cover how lovely this place is! The villa is located a few km from a nice town that has great shopping and wonderful beaches. It is fully equipped with a fantastic kitchen (complete with spices and recipes), wifi, very comfortable beds, lots of bedding and towels, washer and dryer, two bathrooms, air conditioning, beautiful view, outdoor cooking & eating area, patio, lawn chairs, wood BBQ, CD's, TV's and plenty of space. The place was spotless and modern. We were there in summer when it was HOT, but there are black-out shades, an awning, air conditioners and a pool within a few minutes walk to keep you comfortable. We took day trips to St Tropez, Avignon and Monaco from this base using both car and trains. When we come again, we would skip the day trips and stay 2-3 weeks just near this place as there are many many wonderful beaches, wineries, restaurants, farmers fruit stands, trails, country roads, and islands to explore just within about a 12 km radius. There is always something going on, a movie, outdoor fair or market, street dance, beach festival etc. all summer. Our teens loved that they each had their own bed and room along with the wifi. I loved cooking in the well equipped kitchen, coffee & wine on that patio and I would recommend this place to families or anyone to stay. It was wonderful and I hope to return very soon to stay longer! All of my dealings with the Pierre the owner were pleasant. He was most helpful in communicating, sending me tips, keys, etc. and keeping in touch. The price for the villa is very reasonable for such a wonderful, clean, comfortable, well-equipped place. STAY HERE! You won't be sorry.
