I had an indelibly life changing impression made upon my life, for the last couple of days, mainly from Friday 23rd June in the evening time to Monday morning 27th June 2017. This period of time, you see, represents the time I spent at the Tomas Villa in Tobago. It was a time where I stepped off the path of my regular existence into another \"zone\", namely, the \"Tomas Villa Zone\". Upon entering the neighborhood there in Bon Accord whilst driving towards Tomas Villa, I immediately felt a wave of tranquility cover me, as if I was already leaving the bustle of the world behind. At the front of the Villa, one has to stop just to slowly drink in the lovely fountains, plants etc before entering the Villa\'s beckoning front doors.
Upon entering, as you cross the threshold, you encounter a wonderful world of a most pleasant interior, comprising varied objects, immaculate decor, lighting and furniture etc, (inclusive of an idyllic wall waterfall that one has to stop and spend a couple seconds just musing upon). Everything and everywhere in this place is so extremely pristine! All of what I experienced just at this point of entering, not to mention further, the experience of the rooms, even going up the staircase to the rooms, the bathroom, the gym area (which isn\'t large but effective all the same), the kitchen, the outside area, pool hmmm.. all I can say is the people who own this place are awesome! ..By the way, the staff they are gonna bowl you over with their excellent customer service and warm, friendly disposition. All that you encounter here, will register one single thought in your consciousness; Meticulous Excellence! Tomas Villas is a truly cozy homely experience yet infused with the standard, the flavor and ambience of any five star hotel.

A full review of my experience staying at Tomas Villa. Room #8 facing the pool
This luxurious Villa is situated in such serene surroundings I kid you not when I say you WILL NOT want to leave. Two beautiful fountains adorn the front area as you enter the gate, parking is also available. The ambiance is one where you go into a zone as soon as you enter it\'s doors. The calming waterfall hung on the wall puts you in a frame of mind that your vacation has begun. You can see that the decor was thoughtfully done every piece complimenting each other. The lobby has lots of comfortable sitting space with chunky couches where when you sit you won\'t want to get up. There is also cable tv and internet where you can relax while awaiting to be checked in.
You are greeted with friendly, hospitable and warm host so the check in process is quite easy and you just want to view the rest of the Villa because from the look of the lobby you can\'t wait to see your room. Up the stairs you\'ll go where there are lots of art pieces placed strategically on the walls to give you a nice island vibe welcome. There is a \"Tobago\" wall where all the pieces are artworks of Tobago.
Before entering your room you can either lounge on 2 comfortable lounge chairs which leads to a \'Sun Room\' where you can relax and have a view of Bon Accord at the front of the Villa. Entering your room you will be given a code to unlock your door so you don\'t have to worry about forgetting your keys. There is a large flat screen tv(cable and internet included) situated on top of a large chest of draws where I think they really don\'t want you to leave this place lol.. On each side of the chest of drawers are 2 beautiful accent chairs which complement the bedding theme. The room has lots of storage so you can unpack all your stuff and be comfortable as if you are at home. There is also a cupboard where you can hang your clothes (hangers included) and more storage space with a full length mirror attached to it. An ironing board with iron and a hairdryer also complimentary to the rooms.
The bathroom is large spacious and well lit. A rain forest shower head greets you when going to shower and there is hot/cold water. Ample amounts of towels for you to use and also separate pool towels which are color coded.
I left the bed for last ahhhh . Very comfortable and the comforter keeps you nice cozy and warm even when the AC unit is high. The color scheme is soft, relaxing and pleasing to the eye.
Opening the sliding doors and you go out onto the Balcony which has scenic view of the court yard and the pool. 2 lounge chairs are provided with a table in this area. Lots of trees and natural light make up the backdrop for this area. If you\'re a nature lover you are awoken in the morning to the sound of Cocrico\'s chirping(Trinidad and Tobago\'s National Bird)
The whole Villa is fully air conditioned.
The kitchen area hmmm this is where you will feel most at home. Every kitchen amenity you can think of has been put in place for your use. From coffee and tea maker, Vitamix blender, waffle maker, toaster, electric kettle..You name it they have it.. A large dining table where lots can be seated comfortably. Lots and lots of cupboard space with pantry. A large 2 door fridge with ice/water dispenser, electric stove and microwave. There is also a dishwasher cause who has time to wash wares while vacationing..
From the kitchen area you walk through a glass sliding door onto the pool area where there are lots more seating area. An out door dining table if you feel like having your meals outside. There is also an outdoor cooking area with fully functioning grills if you feel like having a bbq lime. More seating can be had under the cozy gazebo where it\'s encouraging you to be outdoors. Alongside the cooking area is another seating area space with bar stools and table.
The pool is not heated but with the Tobago sun you are sure to have a warm and refreshing soak/fun time. The shower area also has an outdoor wash room which includes a washer and dryer with lines to hang all your wet stuff. Great idea as you don\'t want to be back and forth inside the Villa wetting up the floors.
