Our Unit is a 2 Bedroom Condo Sleeps 6 ...with a Ice Skating pond in front of Rising Bear during the winter time. The Rising Bear House is located directly across from Stratton Village where you can park in a heated garage in the Rising Bear heated garage in building. (1 spot available and never have to drive your entire stay).You can walk to the base lodge and lifts. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops and spa all located in the village.

Condo details-Living room with gas fireplace and brand New 4K HDTV flat screen TV, pull out full size bed sleeps 2 Kitchen with eat in area as well as dining room. Master Suite Bed Room has a King size bed, tv and dvd, with a full master bath. Second bedroom as a King size bed and door to bath 2nd bath room. Second bathroom is a full bath. Balcony with access from living room, offers great mountain views. Access to owners great room lounge and fireplace (on 1st Floor) in lobby of building as well as heated outdoor pool and two jacuzzis and Sauna. The heated pool is great for kids after a long day skiing on the slopes! Other amenities: private ski locker and wireless internet. Access to health club and pool as well as golf course.

About the Owner

Carl, Ron Pate are brothers with 3 children each , and Sean-Nancy are very good friends with one son,we vacation and travel together and with our families. We enjoy traveling and vacationing as a family and we look for places that are family centrist. We purchased this property in 2017 and spent 5 months renovating this and making several trips to make sure that our vacation home is outstanding with all the comforts and amenities! We have VRBO is Stratton Vermont as well as in Rincon PR. And we have been looking at Costa Rica for the past 3 years.... we feel like we have found the perfect, tranquil relaxing vacation get away that we love in this beautiful country! Great couples' weekend over New Years!

I stayed with my boyfriend and his brother for 4 days over New Years' weekend. The condo was in an amazing location. We were able to walk to Stratton Village and the base of the mountain in 5 minutes. The condo was very spacious, extremely clean, and well-equipped with everything you need. The kitchen has cooking supplies /appliances / utensils and we were able to cook breakfast every morning and dinner a few nights. A nice touch is the free Starbucks coffee and muffins in the lobby every morning! The bathrooms were also good-sized and very clean (plenty of fluffy towels!). The best part was the parking garage connected to the building. We rarely had to walk outside! We also were able to store our ski gear in the storage unit in the basement. There is plenty of closet space and the unit also has a washer-dryer. We loved coming back from the slopes and warming up by the cozy fireplace while watching tv and playing board games! We also loved waking up in the morning with views of the mountains. Carl was very responsive during our stay. He gave clear instructions on how to use everything in the apartment and even left cookies for us when we arrived! We will definitely return!
